Role Overview:
Appknox is a leading mobile application security platform that is recognized by Gartner and highly rated on G2. As a profitable, bootstrapped B2B SaaS company, Appknox combines startup agility with financial discipline. The 65+ member team at Appknox is dedicated to building something meaningful at the intersection of cybersecurity and developer experience. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales in APACs highest-growth markets, targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, discovery, product demos, proposal submissions, contract negotiation, closing deals, and collections.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calls, targeted email sequences, LinkedIn, and account-based plays.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors in client organizations.
- Tailor messaging and deal strategy to sub-regions within APAC, understanding different buyers, cycles, and compliance landscapes.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Security teams to impact go-to-market strategies and support technical validation and complex deals.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in HubSpot to ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales as a quota-carrying Account Executive with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Experience in full-cycle deal ownership, including prospecting, demoing, negotiating, closing, and collecting.
- Understanding of enterprise sales dynamics, long deal cycles, multi-threaded selling, and procurement processes.
- Strong communication skills to engage with technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Preference for candidates with experience selling into APAC markets and a background in cybersecurity, developer tools, or infrastructure SaaS.
- Fluent in English; additional APAC languages are advantageous.
