Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other samples for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and centrifuges.
- Ensure accuracy in test results and timely reporting to physicians.
- Maintain proper documentation and quality control records.
- Follow NABL guidelines and hospital safety protocols.
- Blood Bank Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collection, typing, cross-matching, and component separation.
- Store and maintain blood units under required temperature conditions.
- Ensure strict adherence to transfusion safety protocols and avoid contamination.
- Screen donors for eligibility criteria and infection control compliance.
- Manage blood inventory and coordinate with hospital departments for blood supply needs.
- Handle emergency situations like mass transfusions and rare blood type requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / Blood Bank Technology or equivalent certification.

- Experience in handling advanced diagnostic equipment and blood banking procedures.
