What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the customer-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, collections, cash application, customer account management, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with customers and internal teams.
  • Investigate and resolve customer deductions, short payments, credits, and account issues.
  • Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze customer deductions, promotional investments, and trade spend activity to support profitability.
  • Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, inventory-related processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support external review and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to scalable processes, systems, and reporting as the business grows.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Billing, Credit, Revenue Management, or Financial Analysis.
  • Strong experience managing customer accounts, collections, reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
  • Experience working within a high-volume or complex customer environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Experience within manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, agriculture, retail supplier, or consumer products environments is an asset.
  • Exposure to customer deductions, rebates, chargebacks, trade spend, or promotional accounting is an asset but not required.
  • Postsecondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • CPA designation or progress toward designation is welcomed but not required.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join one of Saskatchewan's great local growth stories.
  • Work closely with an experienced and collaborative leadership team.
  • Gain exposure across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Leadership.
  • Play a meaningful role in supporting growth and profitability.
  • Contribute ideas and influence process improvements.
  • Develop exposure to commercial finance and trade spend analysis in a supportive learning environment.
  • Be part of an entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture where people are encouraged to make an impact.

A Note About Trade Spend Experience

Direct experience with trade spend, promotional accounting, rebates, or chargebacks is not required. We are happy to teach these aspects of the role to someone who brings a strong foundation in Accounts Receivable, customer accounting, problem-solving, and relationship management.
