Commercial Loans Officer

Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Inc. (AMDI) is seeking a Commercial Loans Officer to support Métis entrepreneurs across Alberta.

In this role, you’ll evaluate and manage loan applications, work directly with clients, and help grow Métis-owned businesses through responsible lending.

What you’ll do:

• Assess and process commercial loan applications
• Analyze financial information and repayment plans
• Communicate lending decisions and support clients throughout the process
• Maintain accurate loan and client records, including creating documents, annual file reviews and client site visits
• Support special loan initiatives

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Loans or Credit Officer
• Strong financial analysis and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Métis culture or community involvement is an asset
