About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level SRE/Saa S Operations Engineer to help maintain and improve our cloud-based Saa S platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, container orchestration, and Dev Ops practices while growing your skills in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Saa S infrastructure on AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Lab CI
Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters with knowledge of CNI networking, cert-manager for TLS certificates, and policy enforcement tools
Manage application deployments via helm charts.
Implement configuration management solutions using Ansible
Monitor system health using observability tools.
Respond to incidents and participate in troubleshooting efforts
Maintain relational database systems
Document operational procedures and runbooks
Collaborate with development teams on deployment and operational issues
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation covering EMEA and US time zones
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in operations, Dev Ops, or related technical roles
Solid experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including CNI basics, cert-manager usage, and familiarity with security policies (Gatekeeper or PSS)
Experience creating and managing Helm charts
Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Git Lab CI)
Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management (like Chef or Puppet)
Experience with relational databases (administration and basic optimization)
Understanding of monitoring tools including ELK stack and Grafana
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Azure cloud platform
Basic knowledge of Java applications
Experience with non-relational databases
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
Exposure to Kubernetes operators and custom resources
Familiarity with ingress controllers and service mesh concepts
Familiarity with Git Ops practices

Total Experience Expected: 6+ years
