Job Title: Service Advisor

Job Summary

A Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. They are responsible for understanding customer concerns, coordinating repairs or maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to their vehicle/service concerns.
• Clearly explain recommended services, costs, and timelines.
• Open and manage service orders accurately.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality service.
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding service status.
• Upsell additional services or maintenance when appropriate.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and billing processes are followed.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience in customer service or automotive service industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic technical knowledge of vehicles/services (depending on industry).
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and service management software.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
