This position will support national defense initiatives by performing operations related to the destructive and non-destructive testing of energetic materials, inert materials, and rocket motors.</div> <div><br><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></div> <ul> <li>Assisting in the test planning process.</li> <li>Researching and implementing industry standards.</li> <li>Performing materials testing and solid rocket motor testing.</li> <li>Conducting data reduction and analysis.</li> <li>Providing status updates to leadership and customers.</li> </ul> <div><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>:</div> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree OR significant experience in data acquisition and sensor integration.&nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum 0-4 years of professional experience.</li> <li>Ability to learn and apply concepts quickly.</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and programming.</li> <li>Strong communication skills.</li> <li>Strong technical writing skills.</li> <li>Ability to work alone and in a team.</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <div><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Familiarity with National Instruments DAQ systems and LabVIEW.</li> <li>Experience with load cells, pressure transducers, strain gauges, thermocouples, etc.</li> <li>Experience with solid rocket motors, hybrid rocket motors, or liquid rocket engines.</li> <li>Experience with handling of energetic or hazardous materials.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$66,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$88,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
