<p><span>We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented</span> <span>Senior Revenue Accountant</span> <span>to </span><span>play a critical role on our</span> <span>Revenue Accounting Operations</span> <span>team – a part of our overall </span><span>Contract to Cash Process. Reporting to the</span> <span>Revenue Accounting Operations Manager</span><span>, this </span><span>individual will be responsible for the accurate and timely recognition of revenue across </span><span>our diverse portfolio of product and service contracts, with a strong emphasis on </span><span>government</span> <span>Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) arrangements</span><span>. This role is also responsible for the </span><span>accurate and timely recognition of</span> <span>Firm Fixed Price (FFP)</span> <span>project-based revenue, costs, and </span><span>margins, playing a pivotal role in translating operational project performance into </span><span>financial statement results. </span></p>
<h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3>
<p><span>The Senior Revenue Accountant will leverage Oracle Fusion </span><span>Projects to manage the end-to-end project accounting lifecycle, including the review and </span><span>analysis of Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) templates provided by business partners. This </span><span>individual will act as a key liaison, bridging the gap between Business Line FP&A teams </span><span>and Corporate Accounting to ensure financial results accurately reflect project execution </span><span>and strategy.</span></p>
<h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<li><span>Work with Technical Accounting to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with </span><span>ASC 606 for new and modified customer contracts.</span></li>
<li><span>Administer and account for various contract types, with a primary focus on Cost-Plus </span><span>Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursed (CR) and Firm Fixed Price </span><span>(FFP) government contracts.</span></li>
<li><span>Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on revenue recognition </span><span>matters, including contract review, revenue forecasting, and deal structuring. This </span><span>role requires collaboration with Program Managers, Finance Program Analysts, and </span><span>various other departments.</span></li>
<li><span>Execute revenue close procedures efficiently and accurately within tight monthly, </span><span>quarterly, and annual deadlines.</span></li>
<li><span>Monitor contract funding, limits, modifications, closeouts, and progress to </span><span>completion, to ensure accurate revenue recognition.</span></li>
<li><span>Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and </span><span>company policies.</span></li>
<li><span>Collaborate with Project Management, Contracts, and Pricing teams to understand contract terms and conditions, and provide guidance on revenue recognition impacts.</span></li>
<li><span>Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making by senior management and FP&A.</span></li>
<li><span>Prepare and review complex revenue journal entries, ensuring proper classification and supporting documentation.</span></li>
<li><span>Look around the corner to mitigate future potential issues and mitigate actual issues with optimized processes and controls.</span></li>
<li><span>Support internal and external audit requests, including DCAA audits, by providing detailed documentation and explanations.</span></li>
<li><span>Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</span></li>
<li><span>Act as a power user of our ERP system (Oracle Fusion Cloud) for all revenue-related activities, including contract setup, project accounting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) / Estimate to Completion (ETC) management, and accounting for project costs.</span></li>
</ul>
<h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<li><span>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited </span><span>institution.</span></li>
<li><span>3+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, with significant exposure </span><span>to ASC 606.</span></li>
<li><span>Demonstrated experience with government contracting, including</span> <span>EAC / ETC</span> <span>analysis, </span><span>and an in-depth understanding of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract accounting is </span><span>strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li><span>Hands-on experience with a large-scale ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and its Project </span><span>Accounting functionalities. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce is </span><span>strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li><span>Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, especially in a fast- </span><span>paced environment with tight deadlines.</span></li>
<li><span>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills. </span></li>
<li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.</span></li>
<li><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, data modeling).<br></span></li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. </li>
