These projects require&nbsp;<strong>Advanced Capabilities Analysts&nbsp;</strong>with deep levels of relevant domain experience to provide direction to the talented software and hardware engineers. We are looking for our next Advanced Capabilties Analysts to join our rapidly growing team in&nbsp;<strong>Quincy, MA</strong>. The Advanced Capabilities Analyst interfaces with external and internal stakeholders to identify needs, then deliver rigorous math and physics-based analytical products which will be used to guide product development and complement our demonstration events, leaving no doubt that Anduril builds systems that offer real and proximate military capability. Additionally, the Advanced Capabilities Analyst will engage with Software Engineers building the supporting mission system software to ensure that predicted customer needs are integrated into all facets of the platform.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Develop model-driven analysis, and often the models themselves, using advanced modeling and simulation capabilities, as inputs to critical design decisions for autonomous vehicle design, development, and employment</li> <li>Provide subject matter expertise (SME) input into autonomous system and/or behavior design</li> <li>Define the user experience that Anduril wants to provide to planners/operators of our autonomous systems so that software features enable the breadth of anticipated needs</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril platforms, autonomy, simulation and perception products</li> <li>Effectively convey the value of cutting edge technology and approaches, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence, meshed edge computing, multi-agent autonomy and human machine teaming</li> <li>Work as a member of an international, multi-disciplinary team, including as a subject matter expert and mentor for both Hardware and Software Engineers from differing backgrounds</li> <li>Partner with business line leadership to evaluate product-market fit, identify capability gaps, and uncover new market opportunities for business growth</li> <li>Drive product strategy and vision by analyzing product operational use cases, concepts of operations, and cases and tactics</li> </ul> <h4><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>5+ years of familiarity with the subsurface and/or surface domain as it relates to military naval operations, including tactics, planning, logistics, and capability acquisition and sustainment</li> <li>3+ years of experience conducting Operations Analysis/Research in a relevant field, including agent-based simulation</li> <li>Outstanding communication skills, including visual representation of complex concepts, processes and data in a manner appropriate to particular stakeholders</li> <li>Ability to de-compose issues within complex problem spaces, working alongside engineering teams to identify actionable next-steps and drive novel solution development</li> <li>Background in STEM, or significant experience in a technologically complex environment (such as operating a nuclear submarine or military aircraft)</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <h4><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>7+ years of recent military service as a submarine warfare officer, surface warfare officer or in an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) role</li> <li>Graduate of the United States Naval Post-Graduate School with studies in Operations Research</li> <li>1+ years experience with physics-based modeling at the payload, platform and/or mission level, or campaign-level modeling using AFSim (or similar)</li> <li>5+ years experience with using simulation products such as AFSIM, MATLAB, SIMULINK, Powersim Studio, Python (or similar) to build Dynamic Systems Models</li> <li>Experience in developing discrete event simulations</li> <li>Experience in military operations and planning, military intelligence, and/or wargaming</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$166,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$220,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
