ASI is seeking Journeymen Data Analysts to work in Patuxent River, MD supporting PMA-273.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain aircraft configuration products, including Aircraft Capabilities, Service Life Analysis Program (SLAP), Service Life Extension Program (SLEP), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Reliability Upgrades, Safety Upgrades, and Technical Directives
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure configuration products align with program requirements and operational goals
  • Develop aircraft maintenance and supply products to identify trends, address issues, and improve overall aircraft performance
  • Analyze maintenance and supply data to support decision-making during production and sustainment phases of the aircraft acquisition lifecycle
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance reliability, maintainability, and supportability of aircraft systems
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret logistics data from various sources, including maintenance records, supply chain reports, and operational performance metrics
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Identify trends and patterns in logistics data to proactively address issues affecting aircraft performance and sustainment
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for reliability and safety concerns
  • Support the development and execution of sustainment strategies to ensure aircraft readiness and affordability throughout their lifecycle
  • Assist in the implementation of reliability upgrades and safety improvements to extend service life and enhance operational capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Additional 4+ years of additional, specialized data analysis/management experience OR 12-15 years of military aviation experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Experience in logistics data analysis, preferably in an aircraft program office or defense environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and/or data analysis tools and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Knowledge of aircraft configuration management, maintenance planning, and supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NAVAIR processes and policies
  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and sustainment planning
  • Understanding of Service Life Analysis Program (SLAP) and Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)

Pay:

  • $44,720 - $98,800 per year
