As a Junior Software Developer with 2+ years of experience in Java and Python, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems. Your role will involve collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver industry-leading AI solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java and Python
- Leading technical design discussions and contributing to system architecture
- Building and optimizing RESTful APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
- Collaborating with product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Troubleshooting production issues and driving root-cause analysis
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployments
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
- Strong expertise in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI preferred)
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience on building AI systems are a huge plus
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Experience with REST APIs, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
