Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Developer (Contract) to design, develop, and support enterprise analytics solutions within an SAP ecosystem. The role involves building and maintaining analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP

Datasphere, Embedded Analytics, and CDS Views, while also supporting analytics modernization and SAP S/4HANA migration

initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, well-documented

analytics solutions.

General Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and enhance analytics and reporting solutions within an SAP landscape
• Build and optimize analytical data models using SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Datasphere
• Develop dashboards, stories, and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Develop and maintain SAP Embedded Analytics artifacts, including CDS Views and analytical queries
• Develop and optimize SQL-based data models, views, and transformations within SAP Datasphere and HANA Cloud
• Utilize scripting capabilities (e.g., SQL, Python) to support data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics use cases
• Support and enhance SAP BI/BW or BW/4HANA solutions and data models
• Provide ongoing support for existing analytics solutions, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Monitor analytics solutions to ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance, and proactively address issues
• Participate in analytics modernization and platform migration initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA migrations
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Produce and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
• Ensure analytics solutions meet performance, data quality, and security standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, architects, and technical leads

Selection Criteria

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or data development roles
• Strong experience with SAP BI/BW or BW/4HANA
• Solid hands-on experience with:

o SAP HANA Cloud

o SAP Datasphere

o SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Strong experience with SQL scripting for data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization
• Working experience with Python for data processing, automation, or advanced analytics use cases
• Experience with SAP Embedded Analytics and Core Data Services (CDS Views)
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives from an analytics perspective
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and analytics best practices
• Proven experience producing and maintaining Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver assigned analytics deliverables while effectively managing competing priorities

within a project-based environment

Additional / Preferred Experience

• Experience working in hybrid analytics landscapes (S/4HANA, BW, cloud analytics platforms)
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience with data governance, security, and authorization concepts in SAP analytics
• Experience developing analytical applications or advanced stories in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
