Content Researcher + Video Editor (Entrepreneur / Finance Media Brand)

Remote | Part-Time to Full-Time | Canada Preferred

I’m looking for a highly motivated, internet-savvy content operator to help build a fast-growing personal brand focused on:

• entrepreneurship
• investing
• business
• economics
• Canada/U.S. opportunities
• real estate
• cultural/economic trends

This is NOT a typical corporate social media role.

I’m looking for someone who:

• understands virality
• lives online
• understands internet culture
• understands why people watch/share content
• can independently research ideas
• can edit engaging short-form videos
• and actually enjoys content creation

You’ll be working directly with me to help create:

• Instagram Reels
• TikToks
• YouTube Shorts
• occasional long-form YouTube content
• carousels/photos
• thumbnails/captions/posts

This role is ideal for someone who:

• watches creators like Alex Hormozi, Patrick Bet-David, Ramit Sethi, Valuetainment, Brett Cooper, etc.
• understands hooks, pacing, retention, and engagement
• enjoys business/economic discussions
• follows trends, politics, finance, and entrepreneurship
• has strong initiative and doesn’t need constant hand-holding

This is a behind-the-scenes role only.

## Responsibilities

• Research viral topics, clips, trends, headlines, and angles
• Bring me content ideas proactively
• Write loose bullet-point scripts and hooks
• Edit short-form vertical content (CapCut required)
• Source B-roll, memes, screenshots, clips, overlays, etc.
• Design thumbnails/simple graphics
• Write captions
• Post/schedule content across platforms
• Help analyze what’s working and improve content strategy over time

## Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media virality
• Strong editing instincts and pacing
• Comfortable using CapCut
• Familiar with ChatGPT and/or Claude
• Able to research independently
• Strong English communication skills
• Organized and responsive
• Entrepreneurial mindset

BONUS if you know:

• Final Cut
• Premiere
• DaVinci
• Canva
• YouTube analytics
• thumbnail design
• AI tools/workflows

## Compensation

• Approx. $25–35 CAD/hour depending on skill and experience
• Potential for long-term growth into a larger role
• Flexible hours

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
