Job Summary
The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, cost control, hygiene standards, and team leadership. The role requires creativity, operational excellence, and the ability to manage kitchen staff while delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and update menus in line with brand standards and seasonality
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Control food costs, wastage, portioning, and inventory
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and FSSAI standards
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for quality ingredients
- Monitor equipment maintenance and kitchen cleanliness
- Collaborate with management on promotions and special events
- Handle guest feedback and resolve kitchen-related concerns
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of cuisines, food safety, and costing
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹17,617.01 - ₹60,899.00 per month
