Role Overview:

As an Amazon Material Handler in the Inventory and Stock Management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, organize, and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Ensure the accurate stocking of materials and proper labeling of goods.
• Monitor stock levels and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to manage inventory efficiently.
• Communicate with other team members and departments to coordinate the movement of goods within the facility.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure all items meet Amazon's high standards.
• Assist in unloading and loading shipments to and from trucks and containers.
• Work alongside supervisors and managers to troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies or issues in stock management processes.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with Amazon's policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (training can be provided).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Basic computer skills for tracking and recording inventory data.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
