As a high-judgement, self-motivated, and creative communications professional, you will be responsible for managing press office activities for Amazon Operations, specifically focusing on the fulfillment and transportation networks across India. Your role within the Corporate Communications team will involve shaping and protecting Amazon's reputation through effective communications strategies and media relations. This position is based at the India headquarters in Bangalore, requiring expertise in media relations, excellent writing and reasoning skills, and prior experience in dealing with reputational issues.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute external communications programs for various initiatives, collaborating with international, national, and regional media outlets.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key media contacts.
- Manage daily press office activities and media interactions.
- Utilize data to enhance storytelling efforts.
- Effectively navigate and resolve complex and unexpected communications challenges, demonstrating exceptional judgment especially under tight time constraints.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Additional experience in professional communications or public relations.
