Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Energy Expert to lead the design, engineering, and execution of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including megawatt-scale solar power plants. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, solar technologies, and large-scale project implementation, with hands-on experience from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer solar PV systems ranging from residential to utility-scale (MW-level) plants
- Perform detailed electrical calculations, including load analysis, current flow, voltage drop, and system efficiency
- Lead site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis
- Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and technical specifications
- Oversee and execute installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power plants
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage and guide on-site teams, subcontractors, and project timelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and system performance issues
- Optimize system performance through advanced diagnostics and monitoring tools
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
Required Skills & Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and grid integration
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC systems, current, voltage, and protection systems
