Job Description
As a Production Manager, your role involves ensuring safety, respect for work equipment, and environmental regulations within the company. You will be responsible for managing production teams to monitor daily activities and deliver production in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets. Your key responsibilities include:
- Define and drive the implementation of improvement plans on operational and managerial results
- Develop autonomous production teams by enhancing team efficiency and multi-skills
- Enforce safety rules, maintain production means, and provide safety training to newcomers
- Ensure production meets the required quality standards and that procedures are respected
- Drive autonomous teams to comply with production planning and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Stick to and manage the monthly cost base, optimize resource allocation, and track individual time sheets
- Manage autonomous teams around SQCD objectives, drive continuous improvement, and define the management of production organization
Additionally, you will participate in the continuous improvement of processes, manage workforce planning, and ensure the correct implementation of APSYS pertaining to the manufacturing domain. You will also be responsible for capturing Return of Experience (REX) from the shop floor on quality and productivity aspects, workforce management, and planning as per the Site Sales & Operations plan.
Qualifications & Skills required for this role:
- Regular B.E in Electrical/Mechanical
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a relevant area
- Knowledge of production systems (lean manufacturing) and basics in Supply Chain
In terms of behavioral competency, you should have the ability to summarize critical issues, work together with cross-functional teams, possess good communication skills, excel in multi-cultural management, teamwork, and customer orientation. You should also be data-driven, courageous, and demonstrate rigor in managing teams in cross and multicultural relationships.
