Alstede Farms, LLC (Chester, NJ) seeks multiple Farmworker Supervisors to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of farmworkers. Supervise and assist with planting, harvesting, packing, growing, irrigating, fertilizing, weeding, applying pesticides and pruning. Oversee the growing, planting, and maintenance of fruit trees, small fruits, vegetables, ornamental, hay & grain crops. Drive or operate tractors and tractor-drawn machinery to grow and harvest fruits, vegetables, ornamental, hay & grain crops. Inspect crops, fields, or plant stock to determine conditions and need for cultivating, spraying, weeding, or harvesting. Direct or assist with the operations of ornamental & vegetable greenhouses. Supervise or assist with livestock care, feeding, treatment, and handling. Observe animals for signs of illness or injury and confer with veterinarian or managers. Train and assist in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of farm machinery and equipment. Monitor workers to ensure that safety procedures are followed. Oversee or assist in the transportation of crops, animals, feed, equipment, and other supplies.

May travel to various worksites in Morris County, New Jersey. Workers will visit farm properties on a daily basis as part of their work responsibilities. Requirements: Must be able to sit, stoop, bend, or walk for extended periods. Must be able to make repetitive movements. 24 Months Experience as Farm Worker. $64,958/yr ($31.23/hr).
