Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW)

Alpha Healing Center is looking for a Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW) to join our clinical team and play a key role in patient recovery, family coordination, and post-discharge continuity of care.

This role goes beyond traditional setups — you’ll be actively involved in structured recovery programs, patient engagement, and building a sustained recovery community, working closely with psychologists and psychiatrists.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with patients and families from discharge through the recovery journey
• Conduct weekly individual sessions focused on structure, recovery, and relapse prevention
• Facilitate group sessions (both in-house and post-discharge) to build continuity and connection
• Contribute to building and maintaining a recovery-focused community for patients post-discharge
• Lead structured recovery programs (e.g., guided multi-week support modules)
• Provide family consultations & psychoeducation
• Monitor patient progress and ensure continuity of care post-discharge
• Coordinate closely with the clinical team (psychologist & psychiatrist)
• Maintain session notes, reports, and patient updates
• Conduct basic screening assessments (under supervision)
• Manage patient tracking and updates through digital platforms/apps

Who We’re Looking For

• MPhil or MA in Psychiatric Social Work
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
• Comfortable conducting individual & group sessions
• Understanding of recovery models, relapse prevention, and rehabilitation
• Tech-friendly (documentation, apps, tracking systems)
• Ability to work with patients + families while maintaining professional boundaries

If pan India, should be ready to relocate in Vadodara city. Accommodation will be provided inhouse
