As a Security Officer Patrol Engagement in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other designated locations to help to deter disruptions, support access control practices, and assist with directional information.
- Complete routine reports, logs, and shift activity records, and relay important updates regarding security-related matters, facility conditions, and/or policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
