As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Care in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations, assisting with access control, directions, and policy awareness while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
