Position Overview

We are currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious Tow Motor / Clamp Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Scarborough. This role is ideal for individuals with proven experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of heavy and sensitive materials while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tow motors, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
• Transport heavy and delicate roll materials throughout the facility.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Support production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate communication with supervisors and team members.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts.
• Previous experience handling heavy, oversized, or sensitive materials.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations is required.

Schedule

• 8-12 hour rotating shifts (days and nights).
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule is essential.

Compensation & Benefits

• $23.00 per hour.

Required Experience

• Forklift / Clamp Truck Operation: Minimum 3 years (required).
• Shipping & Receiving: Minimum 3 years (required).
