Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Loan Officer Assistant located in the Baltimore area. The Loan Officer Assistant will assist loan officers in managing client relationships, preparing loan documentation, coordinating between clients and lenders, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. Daily responsibilities also include gathering required documentation, updating clients on loan status, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan products, including FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo, and Reverse Mortgages
• Experience in loan processing, documentation review, and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills for client interactions and record management
• Proficiency in computer software and tools relevant to mortgage processing
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with loan origination software (LOS) is a plus
• Previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly beneficial
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in finance or business is a plus
