Role Description The Full-stack Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications that support trucking operations, including dispatch, routing, scheduling, and client-facing portals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end services and APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring secure, scalable system architecture. The role involves collaborating with operations and management teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience. The developer will write clean, tested code, perform code reviews, optimize performance, and contribute to documentation and release processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building end-to-end web applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
• Candidates should possess robust Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with server-side languages, RESTful APIs, and database design.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and basic DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with logistics or transportation systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
