What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related fields to design complex, nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and methodological rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and other domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning
- Ensure clarity, precision, and scientific integrity across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, environmental sustainability, or earth systems science
- Proficient in Python or R for research, data analysis, or modeling
- Exceptionally strong written communicator — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold your work to a high scientific standard
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
- Background in environmental policy, remote sensing, geospatial analysis, or computational modeling
- Experience writing technical content, peer-reviewed research, or educational materials
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language models as an end user
