Role Description The Digital Journalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, responsible for producing timely, accurate, and engaging digital content aligned with Alden Global’s focus on technology and business. In this role, the journalist will conduct CXO Podcasts, research tech industry developments, with key stakeholders, and write articles, features, etc for the company’s digital platforms and partner channels. Daily responsibilities include monitoring tech industry trends, verifying facts, and collaborating with marketing and content teams to shape story angles that resonate with senior decision-makers. The Digital Journalist will adapt content for multiple formats such as podcasts, website posts, and social media ensuring consistency in tone, style, and brand messaging. The role will also involve supporting live coverage of events, forums, and webinars, including real-time updates, summaries, and post-event write-ups.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Broadcasting or digital storytelling formats (such as video scripts, podcasts, or live coverage) is an advantage.
• Strong research capabilities and the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging digital content.
• Solid Research skills to identify story ideas, verify information, and interpret complex technology and business topics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior experience in digital journalism, business/technology reporting, or B2B content creation preferred.
• Proficiency with online publishing tools, content management systems, and basic SEO best practices.
