Job Description
CLOSING DATE: May 12, 2026 Opportunity Centralized Treasury is a cross-asset, cross-product investment team responsible for cash and liquidity management on behalf of internal stakeholders and AIMCo’s clients. The group focuses on management of our leverage and liquidity across public and privates and alpha generation through optimization of exposures, cash reinvestment and yield enhancement. Team members are involved in both the investment in and funding of public securities and helping the fund and its clients achieve investment, liquidity and leverage targets. Responsibilities: Support management and implementation of equity financing products across stock loan, delta one and asset swaps across equities and fixed income and ensuring efficient funding Contribute to structural financing alpha generation through quantitative analysis of market structures across products, assets and currencies Assist with optimizing liquidity and balance sheet across public and private investments Develop maintain and enhance analytics, models and automation tools to support portfolio implementation and balance sheet optimization Support idea generation via research and analysis of market dynamics Monitor liquidity and exposure risks on the portfolio Collaborate with operations and technology teams to support trade lifecycle Work closely with technology team to streamline trading and portfolio management processes Support engagement with external counterparties Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 1-4 years of experience in institutional investing, portfolio analytics, capital markets or total fund functions Undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline including finance, economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field combined with a demonstrated passion for investments Solid understanding of capital markets and portfolio construction Proficiency in programming and data analysis using Python, VBA, and SQL Experience working with large financial datasets and investment systems Experience with Bloomberg, Simcorp and Aladdin is an asset Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and usage of AI tools to enhance productivity Foundational knowledge of total return swaps, futures, options, repos and securities lending High attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities Self-motivated and proactive.
