Become a key player as a hybrid Industrial Engineer focusing on environmental and process engineering in the oil and gas sector. Bring your expertise in regulatory applications and stakeholder collaboration to ensure environmental integrity in Alberta. In this limited-term role, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to reviewing applications under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act (EPEA). You will need a background in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering and must possess relevant industry experience. Key responsibilities include coordinating application review, engaging stakeholders, and supporting regulatory compliance while continuously improving environmental performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate application review teams for EPEA processes
  • Act as liaison with industry and regulatory bodies
  • Represent in external forums and working groups
  • Conduct desktop audits and site visits for compliance
  • Support appeal processes and media requests Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering required
  • 5+ years in environmental or process engineering
  • Professional Engineer registration is mandatory
