Akvo builds atmospheric water generators — machines that pull clean drinking water out of the air, on site, at industrial scale. We manufacture in Chennai, ship to 15+ countries, and our enterprise customers stop depending on tankers, borewells and bottled water and start producing their own. We're now building a deliberately small, high-output sales team to win the Indian enterprise market, and Chennai is where it starts.
This is not a call-centre seat. A digital engine fills the top of your funnel; your job is to run fewer, bigger deals — landing multi-site anchor accounts across Chennai's manufacturing, electronics, IT and industrial clusters.
What you'll do
- Own enterprise sales across Chennai and the Hosur belt end to end — from qualified lead to signed PO to expansion.
- Build and run a named Tier-1 target list: the Sriperumbudur–Oragadam auto and heavy-manufacturing belt, the EMS/electronics cluster, IT/ITES campuses around Siruseri and Mahindra World City, ports, healthcare, education, and SIPCOT/Ambattur estates.
- Work warm inbound and account-based leads handed over by marketing; qualify fast on water source, headcount, site conditions, ESG status and budget owner.
- Run the pilot-to-prove motion — coordinate a site water assessment, place an on-site pilot unit, and let real, measured yield close the deal.
- Hold 15–25 live opportunities with disciplined CRM hygiene.
- Build referral relationships with MEP consultants, sustainability/ESG consultants and architects.
- Land an anchor site, then expand across the operator's other sites. Target: ~2–3 enterprise deals a month at maturity.

Coastal Chennai gives our machines their best yield, and the city has Tamil Nadu's deepest enterprise pool — auto, electronics, IT and ports. You lead with water yield, ESG/BRSR reporting value, and headcount. In the drier Hosur belt you lead on water cost and quality.
Who you are
- 2–5 years in B2B, enterprise, capital-equipment or solution selling — or exceptional early-career talent who can prove the hustle.
- A hunter. High ownership, comfortable owning a number, and patient enough for a 3–9 month capital sale.
- At home in the field — factories, campuses, industrial estates — and willing to travel within the territory.
- Equally credible in a technical conversation (water, sustainability) and a commercial one (ROI, tanker cost, capex).
- CRM-disciplined and structured about your pipeline.
- Tamil is a strong advantage.
