Job Title: Science Lab Assistant

Location: Mundra, Gujarat

Job Summary

The Science Lab Assistant will support the effective functioning of the school science laboratories by assisting teachers and students during practical sessions, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical classes.
• Assist teachers and students during laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the science laboratories.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
• Maintain inventory records of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.
• Report damaged equipment and replenish laboratory supplies as required.
• Ensure all laboratory safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Support in conducting science exhibitions, projects, and related school activities.
• Maintain records of laboratory usage and stock registers.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Science or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in coordination with teachers and students.

Preferred Skills

• Good organizational and inventory management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
