Responsibilities

• Lead brand‑building efforts across external channels, developing content and communications that reflect the organization’s mission, culture, and values while strengthening relationships with partner organizations
• Develop and manage a national content strategy, including sponsorships, nonprofit partnerships, product donations, and media placements, supported by structured content calendars and measurable objectives
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, establish goals and budgets, and produce purpose‑driven communications such as press releases, talking points, and stakeholder messaging
• Lead crisis communication efforts, refine readiness plans, support high‑visibility projects, create multimedia content, and assist with community and national events as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in public affairs, communications, or PR/marketing
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in corporate communications planning, reputation management, and navigating federal, state, and local legislative environments
• Skilled in developing and placing media content—including press releases, op‑eds, and corporate stories—while understanding media strategy and outreach
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize quickly, and produce high‑quality materials in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe tools, with strong organizational and project‑management capabilities

Salary: $110k - $115k
