Operations Front Line Supervisor

Airswift is seeking an experienced Operations Front Line Supervisor to work on a 1-year contract basis with a major Oil & Gas client in Cold Lake, Alberta.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, managing site operations and driving performance in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

As a Front Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 8–10 technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations on site. You will act as a key link between engineering leadership and field execution. This role is initially contract-based, with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 8–10 field personnel
• Ensure safe and compliant site operations in line with industry standards
• Drive daily operational performance and productivity
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to the team
• Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities
• Promote a strong safety-first culture
• Report on site performance and escalate issues as required

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant industry
• Background in power generation or oil & gas (preferred)
• Must hold a First Class Engineering Certificate (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment
