Sales & Application Engineer (Cutting Tools)

As a Sales & Application Engineer (Cutting Tools) with over 4 years of experience, your role will involve:

• Demonstrating good knowledge of various cutting tools, particularly for CNC Machines, and their applications in turning, milling, grooving, drilling, threading, and reaming.
• Utilizing your expertise in the Tool Management system to ensure efficient tool usage.
• Conducting product trials, introductions, and effectively resolving customer complaints.
• Collaborating with the Development team to validate the performance of new tools.
• Applying your sound knowledge to enhance productivity through the adoption of improved tooling solutions.
• Demonstrating proficiency in selecting the appropriate cutting tool grades for different materials.
• Providing customers with tooling solutions that offer cost benefits through optimizing Cost/Component.
• Troubleshooting and resolving various metal cutting problems effectively.
• Working closely with the Product Engineering (PED) and New Product Development (NPD) teams.

Qualifications required for this role include:

• BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
