Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and oversee accounts payables and receivables, ensuring timely transactions and accuracy on day-to-day basis, including follow up of aged AR and AP open items with the client.
• Creating and processing the invoices pertaining to Purchases and Sales on day-to-day basis in ZOHO Books/QuickBooks.
• Calculation of posting of month-end/year-end adjustments such as Accrued Interest, Provision of expenses, Accrued Income, Prepaid expenses, Deferred Income, etc.
• Manage GST and TDS related accounting tasks, including reconciliations, adhering to current regulations and compliances.
• Accountable for ensuring the correct schedules are prepared/linked to the Financial Statements/MIS.
• Ensuring all the accounting data and workings are saved in the SharePoint under respective folders.
• Assisting in Audit and allied activities.

Competencies:

• Working knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Payables.
• Able to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting, with proficiency in ZOHO Books/Tally/QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of TDS and related withholding tax provisions.
• Knowledge and understanding of GST and GST Reverse Charge transactions.
