About the Role

We are looking for a Process Audit Assistant to support execution of a large-scale CSR Concurrent Audit assignment involving multiple CSR projects, locations, and implementing agencies.

The role requires candidates with prior experience in audit / internal audit assignments, strong documentation and analytical capabilities, and ability to work in a structured client-facing audit environment.

The assignment will involve supporting audit procedures relating to:

• Utilization verification,
• Operational/process audits,
• Compliance review,
• Field verification,
• And audit reporting support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Execution Support

• Support execution of concurrent audit procedures across CSR projects and implementing agencies
• Assist in operational/process audits and financial verification activities
• Support review of utilization of CSR funds and related documentation

2. Utilization Certificate (UC) & Transaction Review

• Assist in verification of utilization certificates received from implementing agencies
• Review supporting documents including invoices, bills, approvals, agreements, and expense records
• Identify gaps, exceptions, and incomplete documentation for escalation

3. Audit Documentation & Working Papers

• Maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation
• Ensure proper organization and maintenance of audit evidence
• Update audit trackers and status sheets on a regular basis

4. Field Visits & Project Verification

• Participate in site visits across CSR project locations
• Support physical verification of project activities and assets
• Assist in documentation of beneficiary interactions and field observations

5. Compliance & Reporting Support

• Assist in preparation of audit observations and reports
• Support review of compliance with CSR regulations and project agreements
• Assist in data compilation for CSR reporting and disclosures

6. Coordination & Follow-ups

• Coordinate with implementing agencies and internal CSR teams for documentation and clarification requirements
• Follow up on pending submissions and audit queries
• Support smooth execution of audit activities at client locations

Eligibility Criteria:

• ACCA/B.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant
• 1–3 years of experience in Internal Audit / Audit / Process Audit roles
• Candidates with prior internal audit or concurrent audit experience will be preferred
• Experience in CSR, NGO, development sector, or consulting assignments will be an added advantage

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to work in structured and deadline-driven environments
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel for field visits and project reviews

Compensation

• Compensation will depend on experience, skill set, and relevant exposure

Nature of Engagement:

• Full-time / Project-based role (FY 2026–27)
• On-site deployment with regular interaction with client teams and implementing agencies
