Position Overview:We are seeking experienced and dependable Agricultural Equipment Technicians to join our shop team. We are also open to hiring motivated apprentices who are eager to learn and build a career in the trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of farm machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in farm equipment
- Repair and maintain tractors, combines, seeding equipment, and other agricultural machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot problems
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts, and service work
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Agricultural Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Mechanics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with farm machinery and equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license
