Agri Inverse is an agri-tech startup building IoT-based farm automation and crop intelligence systems for polyhouses, indoor farms, and open-field organic farms across India. We're incubated at Aalamaram & ITEL, and we're growing fast.

About the role

You'll be the person who builds our devices, keeps our inventory running, and goes out to farms to install and service our technology. This is a hands-on field role, part workshop, part field operations. If you enjoy working with hardware, travelling to farms, and solving practical problems on the ground, this is built for you.

What you'll do

→ Assemble and test IoT farm automation devices at our Coimbatore office

→ Source electronic and mechanical components from local and online vendors

→ Manage component inventory & track stock levels, raise purchase requests, maintain records

→ Travel to farms for device installation, commissioning, and handover

→ Respond to field service requests: troubleshoot, repair, and resolve on-site issues

→ Document field visits, device status, and service logs clearly

What we're looking for

✓ B.Tech in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or any relevant technical course

✓ Comfortable working with hardware, wiring, and basic electronics

✓ Own bike and valid driving licence: field travel is a core part of this role

✓ Willingness to travel to farm sites within Tamil Nadu and nearby regions

✓ Good communication in Tamil; basic English for documentation

✓ Freshers are welcome: we'll train you on our devices and processes

Nice to have

— Prior experience with hardware assembly or inventory management

— Familiarity with electronics systems and agriculture irrigation systems

— Interest in agri-tech and smart farming
