Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized training programs and motivational support. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach you will play a pivotal role in educating clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness. This position requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Also looking for someone that has experience working with high performance athletes and is driven to help build the best High Performance training program for athletes in the Okanagan.

Duties

• Develop individualized fitness programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' fitness levels and establish baseline measurements.
• Provide ongoing education on exercise techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Lead one-on-one training sessions while ensuring safety and proper form.
• Motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals through encouragement and support.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and adjust training plans as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes health and wellness.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding scheduling, program updates, and feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in fitness training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Personal Trainer or in a similar role within the fitness industry.
• Strong time management skills to effectively schedule sessions and manage client progress.
• Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and motivate clients toward their goals.
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients clearly and effectively.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A valid certification from a recognized fitness organization is required (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA).
• A passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed in their wellness journey.
