Job Description

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep, appearance, and safety of the HOA’s common outdoor areas. This role plays a vital part in maintaining curb appeal, supporting property values, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The position is primarily outdoors and involves routine grounds maintenance, seasonal work, and light exterior repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general upkeep and appearance of outdoor areas.
• Ensure the safety of the HOA's common areas.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance and seasonal work.
• Conduct light exterior repairs.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in groundskeeping.
• Experience with trash removal.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Capability in general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform light repairs.
• Experience with general upkeep of outdoor areas.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will occasionally need to be available on weekends, about once per quarter. Join a dedicated team of 7 on the groundskeeping team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burke, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
