SUMMARY The Director, Ticket Operations - Entertainment Properties is responsible for overseeing all ticketing operations and box office functions related to new products and high-volume entertainment-based venues. This role is best suited for candidates with experience in theater, performing arts, concerts, attractions, or immersive/live entertainment environments rather than traditional sports ticketing models. This role will lead both the initial establishment and operational management of ticketing functions for new entertainment venues, including system setup, staffing, policies, and processes, as well as the ongoing operation of those venues once launched. Duties include leading front and back of house ticket operations for multiple New York City venues, as well as participation in special projects as business needs dictate. The Director will work closely with business leaders, Ticketing leadership, Marketing, Digital, Ticket Analytics, Finance, and Building Operations to ensure operational excellence and maximize revenue. The Director, Ticket Operations - Entertainment Properties will report to the Vice President, Ticket Operations. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist in sourcing, establishing processes, and implementing new ticketing system configurations as new operations launch
  • Manage ticketing operations across frequently changing event schedules with unique builds, pricing structures, and inventory strategies for each
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with each ticketing system vendor
  • Build and maintain manifests and events in the ticket system
  • Assist in building and managing internal inventory for live performances
  • Oversee box office and ticket operations for live performances and act as the main point of contact for external parties
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on business planning and strategy
  • Strategize and explore different revenue driving techniques for live performances
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Ticketing Analytics departments on upcoming on-sales, special promotions, pricing strategy, sales updates and overall execution
  • Liaise with venue staff to manage box office staff and operations, including but not limited to training and scheduling
  • Prepare and present reports for senior management regarding event sales, attendance, and inventory

  • 5+ years of experience in Ticket Operations and/or Box Office Operations in a theater or live events
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced knowledge of ticketing operations, including event builds, inventory management, and on-sale execution; experience with multiple ticketing platforms is highly preferred
  • Experience managing ticketing system implementation and evaluating ticket vendors, including setup, configuration and process documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

COMPENSATION $105,000 - $128,000 base salary Full-time employees are eligible for a robust slate of total rewards, including:

WORK ENVIRONMENT Works primarily in an office environment or onsite at one of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment's operated venues, but is expected to attend events in the evenings, weekends and holidays. This role is based at the company's headquarters and across multiple New York City venues, requiring travel between sites based on event and operational needs Travel Requirements (< 5% travel): Trips requiring air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights will be rare.
