Job Description
Become a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector with Aecon at the Darlington New Nuclear Project in Clarington, Ontario. Your expertise will ensure quality assurance in mechanical construction and equipment. In this role, you will report directly to the Quality Manager, performing key quality functions related to mechanical construction within the project.
You will maintain inspection and test plans, verify material compliance, and document all inspection results. Your collaboration with management and other teams is crucial for quality assurance and safety adherence throughout the project. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain mechanical inspection and test plans accurately
- Document status and results of inspections thoroughly
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders and Standards
- Initiate non-conformance reports as needed
- Collaborate on project-specific quality procedures Requirements:
- Secondary school education essential
- 1-3 years’ QA/QC experience in mechanics
- W178 Level 2 Visual Weld inspection certification
- Knowledge of ASME Code and ISO 9001
- Strong communication skills with a focus on detail Utilize your mechanical expertise and quality assurance skills to contribute to Aecon's significant project success.
