Job Summary Production Manager

Production Manager oversees daily operations, production planning, and resource allocation to meet quality, budget, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include optimizing efficiency through lean manufacturing, managing staff, and scheduling, aimed at lowering costs and increasing productivity. Key skills include process improvement, supply chain knowledge, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning: Establishing production schedules, setting timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery of products.

Operational Optimization: Implementing Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen) and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity.

Budget & Cost Control: Managing production budgets, reducing costs, and minimizing waste.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring all products meet industry regulations, standards, and customer specifications.

Team Leadership: Supervising, training, and evaluating production staff to maximize efficiency and maintain a safe workplace.

Maintenance Management: Coordinating for repair and preventative maintenance of machine to ensure reliable operation.

Key Skills to Include
