Summary
Adani Group is seeking a dedicated Junior Officer ARFF to join their Quality Assurance department within the Aviation industry. This full-time, permanent role focuses on responding to emergencies at the airport, including aircraft incidents, structural fires, and medical emergencies. The Junior Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, and airport personnel through firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and other emergency situations on airport property.
Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques and conduct search and rescue operations.
Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals.
Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles and equipment.
Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs.
Adhere to all regulations and guidelines related to firefighting and emergency response.
Collaborate with airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies during incidents.
Qualifications / Requirements
Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification is required.
Certification from an accredited firefighting academy is required.
2-3 years of experience in firefighting, preferably in aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) operations.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to firefighting.
Ability to operate and maintain ARFF equipment.
Strong understanding of emergency response and preparedness.
