Assistant ARFF

Summary

Adani Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant ARFF to join their Aviation department. This full-time, permanent position involves responding to aircraft and structural fire emergencies, medical incidents, and other emergencies within the airport premises. The Assistant ARFF will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel through firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and other emergencies on airport property.

Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services.

Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques.

Conduct search and rescue operations in hazardous environments.

Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals.

Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles and equipment.

Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs.

Collaborate with airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies during incidents.

Qualifications / Requirements

Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification.

Certification from an accredited firefighting academy is required.

2-3 years of experience in firefighting, preferably in ARFF operations.

Must have knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment operation.

Ability to adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines related to firefighting and emergency response.

Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Preferred Skills / Attributes

Experience with ARFF equipment operation and maintenance.

Knowledge of emergency response and preparedness procedures.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations.
