Assistant ARFF

Summary

Adani Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant ARFF to join their Aviation department. This full-time, permanent position involves responding to emergencies, including aircraft incidents and medical situations, within the airport premises. The Assistant ARFF will be responsible for firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services, ensuring the safety of passengers and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, and other emergency situations on airport property.

Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services.

Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques.

Conduct search and rescue operations in hazardous environments.

Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals.

Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles and equipment.

Maintain detailed incident reports and training records.

Collaborate with airport operations and external emergency agencies during incidents.

Qualifications / Requirements

Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification is required.

Certification from an accredited firefighting academy is required.

2-3 years of experience in firefighting, preferably in aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) operations.

Knowledge of ARFF equipment operation and maintenance.

Familiarity with Emergency Response and Preparedness.

Understanding of Firefighting Techniques and Incident Management.

Understanding of Quality Assurance.

Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
