Senior Associate - Software Engineer

Job Description

Job purpose

As a key member of the DTS team, you will primarily collaborate closely with a global data driven research firm. Partner with multi-functional teams to develop internal as well as customer-facing solutions leveraging APIs, user interfaces, databases, and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Stay updated with the emerging technologies and industry trends

Key competencies

Essential skills

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in .NET framework, .NET/.NET Core, and C# programming language
• Experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Strong skills in ReactJs for front-end development
• Expertise in writing and implementing unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with REST APIs and good API design
• Knowledge of relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MSSQL
• Understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles

Good to have

• Python exposure
• Big data processing framework exposure e.g. Spark

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field

Behavioral Competencies

• Good communication (verbal and written)
• Experience in managing client stakeholders
