Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Security Systems Technician to lead field operations, provide technical oversight, and spearhead project leadership. This position requires extensive technical knowledge coupled with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage project sites effectively, ensure quality service, and supervise field teams. As the key technical liaison, you will bridge the gap between our project teams and clients, ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- System Installation & Maintenance: Take charge of installing, configuring, and maintaining intricate security system components with minimal supervision to ensure optimal functionality.
- Project Leadership: Oversee site safety, quality assurance, and strict adherence to schedules and compliance with design specifications and authority requirements.
- Team Oversight & Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of up to five junior and intermediate technicians, facilitating training, task completion, and alignment with project objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics, handling complex programming and system integration tasks to resolve issues both independently and collaboratively.
- Customer & Project Coordination: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, effectively communicating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary job documentation is completed accurately while adhering to industry standards such as ISO-9001, CMMI II, and DCAA.
Qualifications
- Education & Skills: Must be a graduate with proven team collaboration abilities and at least four industry certifications in electronic security and systems integration.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic security, focusing on systems integration, administration, and advanced troubleshooting, while maintaining compliance with government and independent standards.
- Professional Development: A strong commitment to ongoing education in compliance, industry developments, advanced programming, and project management practices.
- Travel Ability: Must be willing to travel for projects and occasionally stay overnight as required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- This role requires a high degree of professionalism, adaptability, and organization. You should be able to perform prolonged tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and thrive in diverse environments while complying with safety protocols. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain company-issued tools, vehicles, and equipment.
