Research Assistant for Education Research

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Research Assistant to support academic research project focused on education. The role involves academic research, data collection, and support in teacher capacity building.

Key Responsibilities:1. Literature Review Support

• Search and collect high-quality research papers (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar)
• Summarize journal articles in structured format
• Identify research gaps and key themes
• Assist in citation and reference management (APA/Harvard)

2. Data Collection & Analysis

• Assist in designing and refining questionnaires (Google Forms)
• Collect and organize data from teachers/schools
• Perform basic data analysis (Excel/SPSS support if possible)
• Generate tables, charts, and summaries

3. Academic Writing Support

• Help in drafting sections (Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology)
• Paraphrasing and proofreading academic content
• Ensure plagiarism-free writing
• Formatting according to journal/thesis guidelines

4. Fieldwork Coordination

• Support communication with schools/teachers
• Help organize training/workshop sessions
• Assist in documentation of research activities

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of education / teaching / pedagogy
• Good academic writing skills in English
• Ability to read and understand research papers
• Familiarity with:
• Google Docs / Excel
• Google Scholar
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with research or thesis work
• Knowledge of SPSS / Excel analysis
• Experience in content writing or instructional design

Qualification:

• Postgraduate in Education
• B.ed/M.ed
• Phd
• Strong research interest can also apply

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,668.31 - ₹25,000.00 per month
