About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Research Assistant to support academic research project focused on education. The role involves academic research, data collection, and support in teacher capacity building.
Key Responsibilities:1. Literature Review Support
- Search and collect high-quality research papers (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar)
- Summarize journal articles in structured format
- Identify research gaps and key themes
- Assist in citation and reference management (APA/Harvard)
2. Data Collection & Analysis
- Assist in designing and refining questionnaires (Google Forms)
- Collect and organize data from teachers/schools
- Perform basic data analysis (Excel/SPSS support if possible)
- Generate tables, charts, and summaries
3. Academic Writing Support
- Help in drafting sections (Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology)
- Paraphrasing and proofreading academic content
- Ensure plagiarism-free writing
- Formatting according to journal/thesis guidelines
4. Fieldwork Coordination
- Support communication with schools/teachers
- Help organize training/workshop sessions
- Assist in documentation of research activities
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of education / teaching / pedagogy
- Good academic writing skills in English
- Ability to read and understand research papers
- Familiarity with:
- Google Docs / Excel
- Google Scholar
- Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with research or thesis work
- Knowledge of SPSS / Excel analysis
- Experience in content writing or instructional design
Qualification:
- Postgraduate in Education
- B.ed/M.ed
