Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Job Description
Join our team as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, where you'll coordinate, prepare, and review regulatory documents and certifications for domestic and international projects. Your role will include tasks such as reviewing raw material documentation, supporting the development of regulatory specifications, and filing with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). You will also prepare monthly Kosher Renewal certifications and ensure compliance with laws and standards for flavor and fragrance formulae.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prepare, and review regulatory documents and certifications for various projects.
- Review raw material documentation and enter data into databases.
- Support the development of regulatory specifications.
- File Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) documentation for flavors.
- Prepare monthly Kosher Renewal certifications.
- Ensure compliance of flavor and fragrance formulae with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Function as a liaison among internal departments, such as QA, to discuss customer regulatory needs and specifications.
Essential Skills
- 1-5 years of experience in the regulatory affairs industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition Science, or a related scientific field.
- Experience with Safety Data Sheets and familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and technologically savvy.
- Detail-oriented and able to analyze data effectively.
- Experience or exposure to pet and animal feed regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Trace Gains and Wercs software.
- Enthusiasm for food, flavor, and feed regulations.
- Ability to work extensively on a computer.
- Comfortable with limited fragrance involvement in the role.
- Strong analytical skills and an introverted nature are preferred.
Work Environment
The work schedule is from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The first two months of training will be fully onsite, after which a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote is available. You cannot choose both Monday and Friday as remote days. The company offers a collaborative and family-like culture, with opportunities for growth within the organization. Employees can choose to work on-site five days per week with shorter lunch periods to earn every third Friday off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
